I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Florida, with a practice focused on strategic tax planning and thoughtful compliance for individuals, entrepreneurs, and closely held businesses. Here is the story of how that journey began and the path that brought me here today.

From Early Interest to Lifelong Profession

I’ve loved accounting since my first bookkeeping class as a junior in high school. I was drawn to the order and logic of it all.

Of course, real-world tax law isn’t neat or simple. It’s layered, complex, and constantly changing. And that’s exactly why I enjoy it.

With more than 30 years in public accounting, I’ve worked with individuals and business owners across a wide range of industries. I’ve prepared more than 3,000 tax returns and advised clients through entity structuring, proactive tax planning, and long-term financial strategy.

Experience Built Through Decades of Practice

In 2011, I co-founded a CPA firm outside Nashville and served as President through April 2021. During that time, we grew revenue fivefold and built a team of more than 30 employees.

After a decade of rapid growth and leaving the firm I helped found, I took a semi-retirement sabbatical and relocated to Florida for five years. That season gave me the opportunity to step back, reset, and refocus.

Now, I’m returning home to Middle Tennessee with clarity and renewed energy — committed to working directly with clients and delivering thoughtful, strategic tax guidance.
